The Candidates Age limit

The candidate must be at least 50 years more than 55 years and CEO (Chief Executive Officer - Like General or Chief Manager) for the post and a minimum of 35 and maximum of 40 years for the CEO post.

Applicant Qualification
The candidate must possess Degree in Computer Science or Computer Science (IT) / Computer Applications / B.Tech in Computer Science or Computer Science (IT) for Job Post 1 And Job Post 2, and Post Graduate with CAIIB (Certified Associates in Indian Institute of Banking) / MBA / CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) "with specialisation in risk management" or CA for Job Posts 3.

Registration fee : Applicants must Rs.200 / pay - for general candidates and Rs.50 / - for SC / ST / PWD candidates, which is non-refundable, must be submitted by referring / bank draft payable at New Delhi in favour of "PSB Officers Recruitment Project 2013 ".

This Job Selection Process : The selection can be made on the basis of performance in the group report / interview.


How to Apply : Eligible candidates may apply through prescribed format of application in the system tray, fill out the form completely, passport size photograph affixed on it with super-tracing Application for the post of General Manager (IT) / Head Manager (IT) / Director General (DG), and to the Director General, HRD, Punjab and Sind Bank, Bank House, 6th Floor 21 - Rajendra Place, New Delhi -110008 on or before 03/30/2013.

Deadline for receipt of application : Eligible candidates should submit an application in the format prescribed by the speed post only. Deadline (last date) for applications is 30 March 2013. No application shall be entertained after the date and incomplete applications will be rejected again. The Bank shall not be liable for any delay in the receipt of such a request or loss in postal transit.

Applicant General Instructions :
  •  As the number of vacancy for GM (IT) is one, there will not reservation of SC / ST / OBC / PWD category. However, eligible applicants belonging to these categories may also apply, but they will not be eligible for concession / relaxation except application fees. In the case of the recruitment of four or two managers, Chief General Manager (IT) and two CM (risk management), a post reserved for OBC candidates. The CBO candidates are eligible for age relaxation under Govt. guidelines. However OBC candidates must produce the certificate of recent date format Central government. jobs, showing that the candidate is not the creamy layer section. However, applicants who qualify OBC, belonging to the creamy layer section, may also apply, but they will not be eligible for any concession / relaxation.
  •  When applying for the posts, the applicant should ensure that he / she meets the eligibility criteria and other norms mentioned above and details furnished are correct in all respects.
