- Candidate Should have be a citizen of India.
- Candidate Age Limite :Candidates should not be less than 20 years and not more than 27 years that the 01.01.2013 ( born not earlier January 2, 1986 and no later than January 1,1993).
- Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC and ST and 3 years for OBC candidates West Bengal alone.
- Upper age limit is also relaxable up to 35 years for ministries candidates of West Bengal police who have the required qualifications.
- Ministerial candidates who have already appeared in the examination recruitment of SI / LSI 3 times above are not eligible.
